ABORK

Melbourne’s Neurospicy, Hairy Drag Queen!

Born in Newcastle, NSW, and bursting with creativity from an early age, Abork first stepped into the world of drag in 2018 during an open drag night - and she hasn’t looked back since. What began as a playful experiment quickly became a powerful form of artistic expression. With a background in drama education and a deep love for fashion, art, technology, dance and music, Abork found the perfect way to combine all her passions into one spectacular, glitter-covered outlet: DRAG

Abork’s performance style is a kaleidoscope of camp, creepy, theatrical, heartfelt, chaotic, and neurodivergent art. She thrives on the unpredictable, creating shows that are as emotionally charged as they are visually striking. Each performance is a celebration of queer identity and disability visibility, turning the stage into a space of connection, inclusion, and unapologetic self-expression.

Since her debut, Abork has graced stages and festivals across Australia, from Sydney and Melbourne Fringe Shows to the Dolly Parton Festival in Narromine, the Absolut Pride Party in Tasmania, and countless Drag Bingo shows and nightlife events that have cemented her as a crowd favourite. She’s also been featured in Newcastle Live’s Tourism Campaign, showcasing her as a proud representative of the city’s vibrant creative scene.

Now based in Melbourne, Abork continues to reign supreme - captivating audiences with her unique blend of chaos and charm, and pushing the boundaries of what drag can be. With each performance, she brings humour, heart, and a touch of horror, proving that drag isn’t just an art form - IT'S A MOVEMENT!

Abork acknowledges Aboriginal Traditional Owners of Country throughout Victoria and pays respect to their cultures and Elders past, present and emerging.
